This durum wheat flour, like all the other "Su Ghimisone" flours, is like no other.

Its texture is like Sardinian sand: pure, finely polished, golden, perfect.


Its aroma of freshly ground wheat takes you to a hot autumn evening, in a place in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by endless fields of shy, golden wheat following the evening sun.


Made from the best durum wheat fields in Barbagia, this flour is produced with a passion that is unique: to obtain the healthiest, tastiest and most fragrant flour there is.


But that is not all: The grain is milled together with the wheat germ, which enriches the flour with its nutrients: Minerals, vitamins, tocopherols, proteins and amino acids.


When I first spoke to Federico, I was impressed by his genuine passion for a product that was still in the process of being created. His words were: "Alex, devi sentire il profumo" - "You have to smell this flour".


The moment I opened the first bag, it felt like waking up in my grandmother's barn. Federico was absolutely right.
